The purpose of this paper was to find out the nature and principles of Kodàly music education, and draw inferences on its adaptability to the Ghanaian context. The study was guided by four research questions as follows: 1) How did the Kodàly music education originate? 2) What are the principles and tools of Kodàly music education?
