Anyway, I'm at 29 construction with skilling prodigy (making it 41) and I go to turn in three long bones to Barlak, he accepts them and gives me 1k each, but doesn't give me any construction xp. So I look it up, and the Wiki says there's a 30 construction requirement to even turn the bones in.
Fastest construction exp would be giving Barlak inventories of long and curved bones. You get 4500exp per long bone and 6750exp per curved bone. Obviously this isn't optimal since they aren't tradeable and it would take a very long time to gather all of the bones, but you do get 126k exp per inv of long bones.
The guide focuses more on what quests gives exp and lead into the next quest without you having to train so much. There are definitely quests that should be done out of that order imo. When I got my QPC I followed that guide pretty religiously other then aide tracking for both fairy rings and barrows gloves.
