Fetal growth restriction (FGR) is defined as a failure to achieve the endorsed growth potential. The diagnosis of fetal ‘smallness’ is currently performed on the basis of an estimated fetal weight (EFW) below a given threshold, most commonly the 10th centile.
All measurements for biophysical and biochemical markers are expressed as multiples of the normal median (MoMs), adjusting for maternal factors that provide substantive contribution to their value. This application allows calculation of MoMs from the measurements of biomarkers.

Risk factors. Risk factors of growth restriction should be assessed in every woman at the beginning of pregnancy and at each following visit (Tab. 1A and 1B). Increased risk of FGR is diagnosed if, at least one major or three minor risk factors are present.
