How to get a Facebook stream key. If you want to use software such as OBS Studio, Streamlabs, or XSplit to go live on Facebook, you need a stream key. Some streaming solutions, like Restream Studio, let you sync your Facebook account, so you don’t have to retrieve the stream key.
You can go live on Facebook from a computer with streaming software. These instructions assume you'll use a stream key to connect your third-party encoder to Live Producer. Note: Features may vary between Pages and profiles. Not all features are available when you host a Live video as a profile.
Once you’ve set up your encoder software, you’ll need to connect your stream to Facebook Live. From OBS, click Settings and choose Stream. Choose Facebook Live from the Service dropdown menu. Click Get stream key to open Live Producer in a new window, then click Select on the Go live card.

With persistent stream key (PSK), you can reuse the same stream key across multiple live broadcasts. To turn on persistent stream key: Click Advanced settings within the streaming software setup module. From the dropdown, toggle on Persistent stream key.
