Winter/Christmas Break: Most schools have this break from mid-December to early January. Chinese New Year/Half Term: Falls between late January and early February. The calendar was constructed to allow a one-week mid-term break in Term 1, a mid-term break in Term 2 (to include the Lunar New Year holiday), a 3-week break at Christmas, and a 2-week break at Easter; the year ends on 27 June 2025.
