The FISD Learn-to-Swim Spring Session begins in February and runs through mid-May. All participants must be 4-14 years of age and must first complete a free swim skill evaluation before registering. Contact the front office for swim evaluation information.
Learn to Swim - Level 1. Level 1 (6 – 12 yrs.) The objectives of Level 1 are for students to be comfortable with swimming on their front and back for 10 to 15 seconds.
Swim Lessons. Group swim lessons are offered year-round in the Frisco Athletic Center Indoor Aquatic Center. Classes are open to members and non-members, residents and non-residents.
What to Expect at Your First Lesson. We have three program options available to our members. We encourage you to choose the program that best fits your families’ scheduling needs. Small Group Lessons: Open to ages 3-18. Bronze I & Bronze II. Swim Lessons for Beginners. Bronze I – 2 days/week (M/W or T/Th) Bronze II – 4 days/week (M-Th)
Life Time Swim in Frisco successfully teaches your child to swim by offering the best of learn-to-swim and competitive swimming in our curriculum. Our certified swim instructors will help your child progress through our levels with a fun and engaging approach.
Anyone interested in trying out for Iron Horse Aquatics should be able to successfully complete a minimum of 25 yards in freestyle, backstroke and either breaststroke or butterfly. Tryout sessions are available at the Bruce Eubanks Natatorium, which is located at 7411 First Street in Frisco.
