11 paź 2010 · I Got a brand new Baja 5B 2.0 in a trade from someone and want to make it into a blisteringly fast on roader. Suggestions? I've been out of the large scale loop for a few months so I don't know whats the hottest stuff out as far as hop ups and engines.

Hi guys, this is my new Baja 5B, I just picked it up today and thought I better share with you all...... I also got all the 5T bits, so will be converting it back into a 5T as i just like the look better than the 5B.....
Not finding much, I decided to go with one of the "new 2011 model" 2.0 King Motor Baja's with the 30.5 cc engine. I found a seller on eBay who had the best prices and got it for $470 shipped to my door. Pre-installed upgrades included the huge wrap-around tuned pipe and 8k RPM clutch.
7 paź 2022 · The Baja 5B is a real handful to drive, being rear drive and rear engined. The diff needs a light oil to be driveable on loose surfaces or grass. 5000cst works nice for me, without compromising the drive. The HPI Baja 5B diff works well on lighter oil in the region of 1000 - 10000 cst.
