22 maj 2018 · If you see a small patterned snake around your property it could very well be a juvenile ratsnake. Look for the “bug eyed” appearance, brown to black blotches on a gray background (sometimes yellowish), a somewhat squared-off snout, and bar between the eyes on the top of the head.
24 sie 2009 · Adult rat snakes can reach a length of 6′. If you find a smaller snake with a pale gray body, a pattern of dark gray blotches, and a checkered underbelly, it is likely the juvenile for any of the above rat snakes.
