You will be paid if your employer pays employees on CFRA leave, if you use accrued paid time off (such as vacation time), or you apply to EDD for Paid Family Leave (PFL) and qualify. (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 11092).
1 lip 2020 · Go to edd.ca.gov to apply. Have earned at least $300 in wages that are subject to SDI deductions (look for “CA SDI” on your paystubs) during the 12-month base period of your claim. Provide proof of relationship for bonding claims (birth certificate or record, adoption paperwork, etc.).

10 mar 2023 · The easiest way to have your claim processed is to submit your completed forms electronically in SDI Online as an attachment. To submit electronically, create an SDI Online account at the EDD website. Select New Claim from the menu, and select Submit Electronic Paid Family Leave Care Attachment.
