11 lis 2008 · You will be needing to chip/tune this to do it properly, so you can use any OBD1 VTEC ECU really. P28 or the P72 (GSR) ECU's are most common. Seals/gaskets you'll need to replace:
3 maj 2009 · I know someone who has a beast of an all-motor build. 250whp, and aomething around 170ft lbs of trq. And that's on a 2.0 liter block, fully built, high compression etc. My VTEC screams in the silence of the night.

Here she is.
5 lis 2012 · Set the VTEC point to the intersection of the high speed cam and the low speed cam. Generally if there is a sudden increase in engine output immediately after the cams switch then lower VTEC. Conversely if there is a sudden dip in engine output then raise the VTEC point.

This results in a broad powerband and excellent high RPM capabilities, with VTEC engagement occurring at 4400 RPM.
Best B18 mods. The optimum parts on an engine are in our opinion the ones that give the biggest return for your cash. We won't be swayed by popular B18 parts, they need to be cost effective. Altering your B18 cam will make a dramatic difference to the engine torque.
B18c1 shifting vtec engagement point to same as sec butterflys engagement.. I can hear vtec engage at 4400rpm but i cant feel any torque/power gain till the secondary flys open up. Wouldnt the lower cam profile be more of a benefit when the long and narrow runners are still been used in the manifold??
