31 sie 2009 · I was looking up specs for my B18C1 and there was a VTEC Switchover(4400) and a VTEC Engagement(5800) listed.. what's the difference? I take it as 4400rpms is switchover into VTEC 'territory', assumnin all VTEC requirements are met Vtec will engage after this point.

9 sie 2014 · The proper VTEC ECU is the ECU for the VTEC model of your vehicle. Below is a chart with the pin locations where the wires to control the VTEC solenoid connect.
My car was tuned using a stock IM and then had the Skunk2 IM bolted on, the graphs were almost identical, with an extra KW or two up top with the Skunk2 IM. I saw good gains after tuning from about 5k RPM upwards.
