1 mar 2022 · I’m going to try to have a picture that shows a purpose built medium game gun (an AyA model 53) beside a purpose built heavy competition gun (a Luis Arrizabalaga Model 228, which is similar to an AyA model 56). I think it’s easy to recognize which shotgun is the AyA and which is the Arrizabalaga:
18 kwi 2019 · The AYA took it all in its stride and, with a little extra lead than you would expect, the breaks were very impressive. The gun was a pleasure to shoot. The trigger-pulls were excellent, crisp with 3lb to 3½lb of pressure, and the ejectors were powerful and well timed.
23 wrz 2010 · AyA's version is CNC-machined from a solid block of steel with double underlugs and hand-detachable sidelocks. The sideplates are removed by turning an engraved lever on the left side. Seven polished pins are clearly visible on each side of the color-casehardened action.
15 gru 2016 · AyA Guns are available in 410, 28, 20, 16 and 12 bore. They are built on dedicated actions too. Our test gun is a 20 bore model with 28” barrels and a traditional concave rib. It is in form and proportion a classic English game gun (albeit one made in Spain).

It has a classic specification: 28in barrels, double triggers, concave rib, colour hardened, tight rose-and-scroll engraved action, and weighs just over 6.1/2lb. First impressions are of a good-quality, well-finished, game-gun of traditional form.
13 gru 2016 · The test gun is a 20 bore AyA No.2 which came straight from the stock of the West London Shooting School’s shop. Initial impressions are good; the lines are elegant, the scroll engraving attractive, the blacking and wood to metal fit are executed to a high standard.
