In the wake of the Infernales split, Averno established himself as a talented, young (er) rudo on CMLL 's undercards. CMLL spotlighted him by giving him a title match versus el Hijo del Santo in 2004. While he lost the match, it established him as a competitive singles wrestler.
19 cze 2001 · Averno’s time with CMLL wrapped up this weekend. He was never got to be the top figure, and rarely was even the top rudo, but he was a key part of the promotion for the last decade. Averno was elevated when he became Mistico’s default opponent, and turned that into a long stretch as a top of the card gatekeeper for young high flying tecnicos.
19 wrz 2023 · Volador and Angel looked great flying around everywhere with Averno and Ultimo holding their own. Averno hit a middle rope Devil’s Wings which should have put it away but Angel broke up the pin. Ultimo dropkicked Averno by mistake and that was the beginning of the end for that team.
Averno (March 9, 1977) is a Mexican professional wrestler. He began wrestling in 1995 under the name Rencor Latino after being trained by his father, a former wrestler and referee named Rodolfo Ruiz. He soon started working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
4 paź 2024 · Averno won the first with a Devil's Wings, Titan tied it up in the second. About 10 minutes into the third fall, Averno swung Titan into the barricade, and Titan badly hurt a shoulder badly. Doctor checked on Titan but the match continued.
21 cze 2024 · Averno is capable and should do well here, but perhaps there’s more to it. CMLL officially announced their Aniversario show for September 13 on last week’s show. There’s yet to be an apparent main event.
