I've seen multiple emblems of each of the 4 elements before, depicted here as the traditional emblems that Iroh drew in the sand one time and here, all in circles, which I have seen around quite often. Is the 2nd set of (circular) emblems just a fan-created thing? Or do they appear in the Avatar universe?
The first time we actually see Korra as a little kid, she bends first Fire, then Earth and finally Water as a quick way to show that she is the complete opposite of Aang. It also shows that the element she likes the most using is fire with a fire personality.
