28 wrz 2020 · You need an RF Modulator (TV Switchbox), or an RCA to Coax adapter. The RCA to Coax adapter will give you a cleaner picture and can be purchased at Radio Shack for around $3. Just plug one end into the cable coming from the 7800, and the other end into the Cable jack on your TV.
Its best to avoid clunky RF switches and get one of these RCA to F-type adapters. Every 2600 controller will work on the 7800. You can even use a Sega Genesis controller, if you prefer using a d-pad, but it's not fully compatible with "2 button" games (only one action button will work).

Technically the 7800 is capable of graphic resolution higher than that of Nintendo’s NES, but the 7800’s custom 6502 processor gets bogged down with the higher resolution. Because of this, 7800 titles often use its lower resolution mode.
7800, was a success in that it made Atari $$$, the spent very little on it and the success of the 2600 and backward compatibility made for a money making system. All things said are true, the RF Adapter, would get interference more than a Sega or a NES.
