The most common default IP address for 2Wire routers is 192.168.1.254. To get access to the 2Wire router’s web interface, you will need the IP Address. Without this you will not be able to configure your 2Wire router.
Internet --> your modem --> (public WAN ip address on your router) --> (Private ip address assigned to the LAN on the router) --> (ip addresses assigned to your wired and wireless clients, they will point back to the ip address you assign to the LAN port on your router)
