17 cze 2022 · The arandr command shows the display was connected via HDMI-1, but there is only dummy output, HDMI audio not show either. USB-C has audio output while HDMI dosen't. Any ideas how to enable HDMI audio output? Thanks.
29 gru 2023 · I´ve switched my ASUS Chromebox 3 to Windows 10. Problem is that die Audio device is not detected correctly and no manuel installed driver works. Can anybody support here?
5 paź 2020 · Just received a new one and tried it on the Chromebook and HDMI sound was good. The Chromebook recognised the HDMI and TV straight away and when I clicked on the speaker icon, I saw that it had automatically switched across to HDMI and had ticked that option. So it is weird that your Chromebox is not responding in a similar way.
I wanted to use mine as a htpc connected to the tv, so my question is, does the audio only work with a usb-c to dp cable? I have tried with a usb-c to hdmi (only video input on the tv) to no success (also tried a dp/dp cable connected to a usb-c adapter).
I have an ASUS Chromebox 3 n019u running Chrome OS Version 79.0.3945.123. It's connected to an audio receiver using an HDMI cable from the chromebox HDMI port. I have a bunch of WAV audio files on an SD card.
