New Jersey Department of Corrections. Attention. Effective August 4, 2012, an offender will be removed from the Offender Search Web Page one year after the completion of their custodial term. Offenders will be removed one year after expiration of their maximum sentence date or their mandatory parole supervision date (MPS) if applicable.
Correspondence must include the inmate name, SBI and your telephone number, name, and address. You can also reach out to the NJDOC Telecommunications Office to request a statewide block. Inmates can change their approved calling list every 90 days; 90-day change schedules are as follows:

The NJDOC provides an inmate lookup for locating inmates held in state prisons. New Jersey prison inmate search provides results for currently incarcerated inmates and those released within the last year. Members of the public can also find parolee records using this search tool.
To find an inmate in New Jersey, just scroll to the top of the page and click on the Inmate Search button. Once you locate them click next to the inmate's name or on the link provided and it will show you which prison the inmate is housed in.
