Everyone but ranged casters and dedicated archers benefit from move distance significantly. So this is how it balances out: move distance is good for all builds, period. armor/shield proficiency is good for some casters but useless for melee builds.

You can use it multiple times (scaling with Proficiency) per Long Rest, and the damage scales up with your character level. And each of the three gets something different at level 5 (immunity to a damage type, flight, or a second breath weapon).
