Thylacoleo/Baryonyx: best cavers. Basilosaurus: only under water mount you need. Yutyrannus: Essential bossing support. Giga: Essential for Extinction but start breeding mutations early, not available in Scorched and Aberration. Replace with Rex if that's your bossing choice. Scorched Earth.

They are fast both on land and in water, slim to fit most caves and strong enough to kill everything on caves. Except snow caves and underwater caves. I love me a thyla in a cave. Bary, thyla, manes, basi (for underwater caves) or any other decent Dino that fits inside the cave.
The seed is the base of a procedurally generated ARK. Each seed will create an ARK which can be remade by using the same seed (and other settings). This way players can share their favorite maps with the world. Seeds can only be up to three digit numbers.
Bary are great for caves. Just make sure you fill it up with fish meat ahead of time. One of the first caves you should consider doing is true swamp cave on Island, but I’d recommend getting a Megatherium for that since it’s insane vs bugs. As far as your stats go, I’d recommend getting to 250-300 melee at least before committing too hard to caves.
