The UMC Archives is the depository of official records of the University of Missouri at Columbia as well as of the administrative records of the University of Missouri System. The UMC Archives also houses and preserves private papers, organizational records, and manuscripts that relate to the history of the University and the University System
Special Collections and Rare Books. The collections are diverse and range from a substantial rare book collection with material dating to the eighth century to the comic arts collection, focused on underground comics, classic comic strips, and graphic novels.

21 maj 2020 · The purpose of this project shall be a comprehensive digital archiving and documentation of the NCAC/RDD collection of audio recordings in Gambian languages. The data which until now have not been accessed in any written form shall be indexed and annotated in the current phase of the project.
The book closes with an explanation of the demise of the PPP at the hands of an army coup in 1994. The book not only establishes those distinctive aspects of Gambian political history, but also relates these to the wider regional and African context, during the colonial and independence periods.
The Gambian archives, established in the 1960s, have rich and valuable resources for deeper study and teaching of the history of The Gambia and the subregion.
In the summer 1963 issue of Africana Newsletter (pp. 38–39), I reported on the then sad state of public records in the Gambia. Since that time the Gambian government has acted to preserve and catalogue the materials which prior to independence had been so carelessly handled.
