It was a little bit before my time but it seemed to be the spot back in the day. Pretty cool that it has sat unmolested. Aquasco Speedway.
30 cze 2010 · Aquasco Speedway was a pioneering track in the east. Developed by Alfonso and Albert Procopio in the mid 1950’s it was intended for it to be a purpose built strip for quarter mile racing and the first of its kind in the area. The track was located just minutes south of Washington, D.C.

23 lut 2009 · I was down at the race track a couple of months ago and I met the new owner. He let me take some pictures and says he has no plans to really do anything with the property. I have attached a few pictures of what the race track looks like today and will be adding additional pictures from the early '60s. Enjoy! Mike.
