1 maj 2014 · Time for the bottom paint. I'm leaning to stay with Marpro Super Ablative B (aka Bluewater Copper Shield 45), but I'm hearing good things about Aquaguard. Anyone here have direct experience with Aquaguard? Locale is Chatham MA area.
Is any one familiar with this product? I like the idea of using the most environmentally friendly bottom paint as possible, but still want reasonable performance. They also state that it can be applied a year before launch. Thanks

16 maj 2016 · Currently the Aqua Guard bottom paint, made in Lakewood NJ by Barnegat Bay boaters, is being championed as an 'eco-friendly' sort of bottom paint. It releases no toxins into the water, doesn't poison the painter applying it, behaves like a reliable antifouling, and cleans up with soap and water.
18 lut 2011 · I put the Aquaguard on the bottom of the Stalker II yesterday! I liked the price! Also, it was very nice to walk into the bathroom and use a normal soap and was that stuff right off my hands!
18 lut 2010 · In this test, seven such paint were priced at about $120 or less: Blue Waters Copper Shield 45 and Aqua Shield 45, Flexdel Aquaguard, Interlux Bottomkote ACT, Interlux Bottomkote, West Marine CPP Plus, and Sea Hawk Monterrey.
