SYMBOLS WITH STAND-ALONE GPS TRACKERS: Since the stand-alone TNC trackers output the raw GPS data over the air, instead an APRS formatted position report, there are two methods for specifying the symbol type. First, by default SSID if no other vehicle data is available. See the table below.

17 sty 2017 · In APRS, symbols on the map are encoded as two ASCII characters. The first character selects the table (primary or secondary) and the second character selects the symbol from that table. (The table selector can also be used as a alphanumberic overlay on top of the secondary table)
The symbols in this set are a composite of the original G4IDE set provided with UI-View and the U.S. customary symbols used by WinAPRS, APRSplus, the lastest version of APRSpoint, Findu, and APRSworld, etc. including the latest suggested changes by WB4APR.
