30 maj 2019 · Did you know that you can apply gel stain directly over paint? I’ve done this with success all around our 103 yr old home. I’ve also had great success using gel varnish. Have not used on floors but on old white painted trim. Now (thanks to your post) I’m about to tackle two painted staircases!
