17 kwi 2010 · Try to insert a sheet of thick paper around the button to remove dust, dirt or a grain of sand that can be stuck there. You can't access the button from under the top case so if the paper manipulation don't work you'll have to replace the upper case assembly.
15 maj 2019 · My trackpad sometimes gets stuck physically - it doesn't make click sound anymore and it's not responsive at all. After some time (it could be hours, days or weeks) it randomly starts working again. I've noticed that every time I turn off my Mac the trackpad also becomes stuck physically so I wonder if this has anything to do with battery perhaps?
