15 maj 2024 · Cave Johnson is the founder of Aperture Science, which evolved from its precursor, Aperture Fixtures and later Aperture Science Innovators. Cave Johnson first appeared by a username and password scrawled in one of the Rattmann's dens during Portal, and was fleshed out and provided with additional details during the Portal ARG.
GLaDOS was created to run the testing facilities. When powered on, she killed all the scientists. Her only objective was to test every scenario for aperture products including the portal gun, material emancipation grid, lazers and cubes, and repulsion/propulsion gel.

To say it bluntly : Aperture Science should not have been permitted to continue, and was broke as hell. But it's still there, self-efficient and autonomous, and continue to do science the worst way possible thanks to an ex-secretary turned psycho AI.
