We use the term ‘combined pronoun’ to describe this use of both an indirect and a direct pronoun together in a sentence. And sometimes the two pronouns really are combined! Indirect Personal Pronoun: mi = a me. ti = a te. gli/le/Le = a lui/lei/Lei. ci = a noi. vi = a voi.

“Te lo di” is correct. “Te lo di a ti” is also correct, but adds emphasis on the “to you” part. This emphasis usually has to do with contrast: “I gave it to you [but not to them]” or can be true emphasis: “I gave it to you [and to no-one else]”.
