2 cze 2024 · In group A images, the YOLOv8n baseline model misdetects two of the sheep as four for the densely distributed sheep in the overhead view, while the CCS-YOLOv8 model correctly recognizes these sheep targets. Compared to YOLOv8n, CCS-YOLOv8 demonstrates better detection performance when detecting densely distributed sheep targets with occlusion.

1 maj 2024 · Furthermore, we applied the best-performing CNN-LSTM model for behavior classification to the sheep identified as MS-7 and FS-13. After the devices were attached, MS-7 and FS-13 were reintroduced into the flock for extensive grazing on September 17 and 20, respectively.
Deployment mode also had an influence on the between-animal classification accuracies, with the leg and collar deployments showing a greater range in successful classification accuracies compared to the ear attachment, especially for standing behaviour.
