The Pantheon is a well-known ancient Roman temple that was first built between 27 and 25 BC. It was later rebuilt under the rule of Emperor Hadrian after it was destroyed by fire twice. The word ‘Pantheon’ comes from an ancient Greek word meaning ‘of, relating to, or common to all the gods’.
