This is a list of films released by Anchor Bay Entertainment on home video, DVD, and Blu-ray. Formed as the result of a split between Video Treasures and Starmaker Entertainment in 1995, Anchor Bay began releasing films on VHS and DVD in 1997, and has since built a catalog of over 300 releases.
Anchor Bay acquires and distributes feature films, original television programming, including STARZ Original series, children's entertainment, anime (Manga Entertainment), fitness (Anchor Bay Fitness), sports, and other filmed entertainment on DVD and Blu-ray™ formats.
In 2006, IDT was purchased by Liberty Media, and IDT became Starz Media (now Starz Distribution) and the next year Anchor Bay was renamed Starz Home Entertainment, only for it to revert back to its original name in 2008.
The following year, Anchor Bay was renamed to Starz Home Entertainment, which was dropped in 2008. In March 2011, The Weinstein Company purchased 25% of Anchor Bay. In 2016, Lionsgate reached an agreement with Starz to acquire the company for $4.4 billion.
