The most economical option for registering your horses is to do so before 4 months of age. Registration forms are fillable online, but must be printed, signed, and mailed to the AMHA office. If your foal is 24 months and older, it must be DNA tested and Parent qualified.

The American Miniature Horse Association promotes the breeding, use and perpetuation of a standard of equine excellence in miniature. Horses registered with AMHA must meet the Association Standard of Perfection and cannot exceed 34 inches in height measured from the last hairs of the mane.
8 maj 2020 · REGISTRATION APPLICATION An AMHA horse is issued a Temporary Registration certificate until they reach the age of 36 months. At that time, if they measure 34 inches or less according to AMHA measurements, these horses can apply for Permanent Registration. A Registration Application should be filled out for all foals.
