11 sie 2005 · I am currently looking at the Alvarez RD8 and RD8-C. I played them at a music store (tried to, anyway), and they both sounded great. I probably wouldn't know the difference at this point, anyway, but all of the reviews I have read gave these two guitars high marks on sound quality.

4 sty 2009 · The "wires" probably detach from the assembly so that you can pull the preamp system out of the guitar and set it on a table to change the battery (if need be). Contact Alvarez or contact an online retailer who sells that model. I'll bet they would give you some clear answers.
