3 lis 2008 · Even if you use the "1/2 of what it's worth new" formula you'd end up with $365 ($630+$100 for case=$730) for my guitar with case. If you go with the higher price for the RD8 ($250 w/case) and half it you get $125. $365-$125 is $240 difference in cost between my guitar and his guitar.
11 sie 2005 · I am currently looking at the Alvarez RD8 and RD8-C. I played them at a music store (tried to, anyway), and they both sounded great. I probably wouldn't know the difference at this point, anyway, but all of the reviews I have read gave these two guitars high marks on sound quality.
The RD8 is an older model dreadnought acoustic guitar that is very well made. Unlike modern acoustic guitars made of laminated materials, this guitar is built with a natural finished spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a sleek mahogany neck.
