Beautiful guitar and yes that is dao wood and the color is koa brown was misinformed originally the guitar as all in this price range or laminate tops and it is in great shape looking for a home that will enjoy it's i candy appeal easy playability.

2 lis 2006 · i have the AF60CK which, i'm sure you've researched and know that this is just the folk style version of the two (AD60CK and AF60CK) the figured dao is a great wood. it's not a solid top, but in all honesty I didn't hear much different from this and a solid top.
16 cze 2008 · I was looking at an Alvarez AD60Ck the other day that is made of figured dao wood. It sounded pretty good in the store but I am an amateur beginner so I was wondering if anyone had one of these and how you like it.
