Aminat O. Ayinde was a contestant on cycle 12 of ANTM in 2009, where she was the second runner-up. Aminat is of Nigerian heritage, and grew up in a muslim household. She was scouted for the show by a casting associate named Monique Peters.
Allison (called first during the call-out ceremony), Celia, Teyona, Fo, Nijah, Kortnie and Natalie also received praise, however Aminat, Sandra, Isabella, Tahlia, and Jessica struggled to make it work.

Runner-Ups Revenge Cycle 12: Allison vs Aminat. I love both girls, but one was an undeniable finalist and the other could have been easily replaced. Let’s see if that proves true.
I would put Fo in final three, but any of them could realistically have been third and it wouldn’t have changed anything because all four of them were really weak compared to Allison and Teyona. Fo probably had the best chance because she could be commercial, but then we got Aminat’s stunning self so I wasn’t mad at all!
