Overview. All certificates are certified extracts of the original Registration of Death. Altering and/or laminating Vital Statistics documents makes them invalid. Historical records. The following must be applied for through the Provincial Archives of Alberta since they qualify as historical records (anyone may apply):
Read 1891-1977 Albert City Appeal Newspaper Archives from Albert-City, Iowa. Genealogy and family history records include: obituaries, births, & marriages.
Stillbirth Indexes. The Provincial Archives of Alberta provides access to: birth records that are 120 years or older (from the date of birth) marriage records that are 75 years or older (from the date of marriage) death records that are 50 years or older (from the date of death)

Albert City Historical Society and Albert City Historical Museum has free, digitized Albert City Historic Newspapers online that can be searched for birth notices, death notices, marriage notices, names and surnames, and more. These papers are hosted at Advantage Archives.
