At the age of 20 (in 1962) she married successful harpist Joel Andrews. Anne and Joel gave birth to two bright, musically gifted children whom they raised together until their divorce in 1972. For the next ten years Anne was a working single parent.
Watts married three times and had seven children (five daughters and two sons). Watts met Eleanor Everett in 1936, when her mother, Ruth Fuller Everett, brought her to London to study piano. They met at the Buddhist Lodge, were engaged the following year and married in April 1938.

7 wrz 2024 · Watt married Gill (née Gummer) in 1988 and lived in the Dowanhill area of Glasgow. When not teaching or on stage he and his wife much enjoyed exploring the remote Greek islands and had many cycling holidays in Europe.
He was raised by four nannies, one of whom was unpleasant and told him Bible stories. The other three, one Dutch and two him fairy tales, and stirred his unconscious awareness of an archaic culture that considerably pre-dates the coming of sober Christianity.
