That being said, aim assist on console (especially next get consoles running at 120fps) is completely broken how strong it is. On the other hand, if you use a controller on PC it's completely scuffed. Id call it unplayable, unenjoyable at the least. It's my understanding that there's no way to turn off cross play.

Here's what worked for me: Lead your shots. Nothing is hitscan. Everything has travel time. Even if someone is 10 feet away you need to lead them very slightly. Unless it's the smg... tap fire. The bloom seems to be worse if you hold down the trigger. Ignore the meta and use what works for you. No gun in this game is garbage.
