16 maj 2011 · Cheapest would be to convert the pdf to an image. If you can fit the whole document on your screen without scrolling, just take a screenshot. Then use Irfanview or similar to adjust contrast and brightness to improve the file.

My question is how to increase the density of the grainy text or darken the light text from within Acrobat already. Our solution now is to print the light pages, use our Canon copier to darken the pages (using the "increase print density option) and then rescan those darkened pages.
