18 sie 2021 · Identification of specific imaging biomarkers of ADHD is challenged by normal brain maturation across the age spectrum, disease heterogeneity, ADHD subtypes, and neuropsychologic comorbidity. Artificial intelligence techniques offer the opportunity, based on well-characterized homogeneous study samples, for neuroimaging to become more ...
29 wrz 2017 · Since ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder, high-tech brain scans based on blood flow and brain wave activity may help give insight into this condition. But do these scans really work?
19 lip 2023 · To understand the role of brain imaging in ADHD, it’s helpful to know more about the types of scans used. Some scans capture static images of the brain, and research has sometimes found the brains of people with ADHD look different to those of people without it.
In this study, we compared a large single diagnosis group of patients with ADHD (combined, inattentive, and hyperactive) to healthy controls using brain perfusion single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging to determine specific brain regions which could serve as potential biomarkers to reliably distinguish ADHD.
Here, we present a mega-analysis of cortical thickness and surface area in participants with ADHD and healthy controls across the lifespan from the ENIGMA-ADHD Working Group, a world-wide collaboration aiming to characterize the characteristics of the brain of people with ADHD.
1 lip 2019 · In this issue, results from the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) section of the ENIGMA (Enhanced Neuroimaging Genetics Through Meta-Analysis) consortium are reported for cortical measures (1), complementing an earlier report of intracranial volume and subcortical structures (2).
6 lut 2023 · Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rsfMRI) has been widely used to characterize the abnormal brain function by computing the voxel-wise measures and Pearson’s...
