12 sty 2008 · I had an open case with Acura Customer Care for about 9 months and my truck was fixed about 5 weeks ago. I had the lower control arm bushings replaced as per Acura and my clicking noise has been gone ever since. Some have reported Lower control arms being replaced, but that was not done in my case.
Look for tears or cracks on the bushings. Check the ball joints for torn boots or grease leaks. Inspect other steering and suspension components for any issues. Place a pry bar on the control arm near one of the bushings. Use the bar to push and pull the control arm downward to check its movement.
