Michelle Forbes (born 8 January 1965; age 59) is an actress who played Ro Laren in eight episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and reprised the role in the Star Trek: Picard third season episode "Imposters". She previously played Dara in The Next Generation fourth season episode "Half a Life".
Prior to introducing the character of Ensign Ro Laren in Ensign Ro (1991), she appeared in a small part in Half a Life (1991), as Dara, the daughter of Dr. Timicin, played by David Ogden Stiers. A Star Trek action figure was made in the likeness of Ensign Ro Laren, her character on the series.
