Forgot my iCloud password - that's clearly my fault - but this has nearly convinced me to go with a non-Apple phone for all the frustration this has caused. Nobody else makes their customers wait two weeks for a password reset.

iCloud. On Nov 13 of this year I signed into iCloud via a web browser on my desktop PC. I received the verification alert on my iPhone and shortly afterward I got the routine email letting me know my Apple ID was used to sign into iCloud.
Since the phone number has changed, there is no way to recover the account. To reset the password you need access to the phone number.

16 wrz 2024 · If you don’t know your password and can’t verify your account information, you'll receive the option to start account recovery. You can also start account recovery from iforgot.apple.com through your device’s browser.
