25 lut 2001 · After much research and consideration this sucker looks like it might be the distributor I choose. It's electronic, VERY small diameter, is adjustable for both vacuum advance and mechanical, and can be adapted for HEI style wire posts.
10 lut 2014 · I just purchased from a friend a brand new Accel 71100E distributor. But no instructions came with it. It only has three wires, so it shoud be very simple... but i can't find the answer anywhere where those 3 wires shoud go!? including at Accel's site.

31 gru 2007 · MSD does make large cap distributors- in fact, they make a very nice drop in HEI replacement. or, if you need it, i think they make an adapter to use a large later model Ford cap on a GM points distributor.
29 maj 2006 · I'm running the Accel 71000 series distributor and a MSD coil. I installed a .8 ohm resistor and after re-reading the information that came with the coil and distributor I removed it. The instructions on the coil noted if using on an old points style distributor you must use the .8 ohm resistor.
24 kwi 2005 · I have been lucky enough to have used the Pertronix (in 2 cars) a Mallory Unilite distributor (in 1 car) and the Accel points eliminator kit (in 1 car). First off, the Mallory and Accel units are the same exact modules.
