24 cze 2012 · The cost you have been quoted is probably accurate based on the specific damage you have. If they replace the panel, they will have to cut it out and weld in new (trimmed to fit just right). Big time custom job. Or, they are going to have to pull the dents out and repair the existing.
The big things that had to replaced: Passenger quarter panel, 2 rims, 2 wheel bearings, and rocker panel. Then there is a BUNCH of tiny crap plus the quarter panel and rocker panel repaint. Ended up costing around 10k and the insurance DID NOT total it.
16 sie 2020 · Especially when local shops are north of $120.00 a hour for labor (Moresville, NC for instance). A simple lower quarter, trunk drop off, rear outer wheel house all butt welded and metal finished will cost the same as a full quarter. All depends on the car and the customer's wants.

7 maj 2015 · Change the quarter. I pulled and filled my quarter that had a dent in it, but eventually when I get a chance I'm going to replace the quarter. It was good enough for the time being but for a good fix I'd like to replace it.
