19 wrz 2006 · We just replaced the suspension on my dad's 1995 Lincoln Town Car, and the instructions for disabling the Air Suspension Warning Light were not very clear. When I looked on this forum, I didn't find anything conclusive.

Take a look for this plug: To turn the light off and disable the air suspension, you must unhook the air suspension module. The module is located in the luggage compartment, behind the air suspension switch. Pull back the wall carpet and remove the 2 nuts that hold the suspension module.
8 wrz 2016 · The car’s computer will turn on the air suspension warning light if it detects any abnormal activity. Typically, this will occur if the compressor isn’t providing as much air as it should or if there is a leak in the one of the bags.
7 lis 2009 · 1) Check the switch in the trunk. 2) Check the fuse/Relay. If the Air springs are gone, the Air compressor cannot pump up the Air springs, so the fuse or the Air compressor could be fried.
I was wondering what the best way to get rid of the air suspension off message is. I've seen forums about clipping a green and lime green wire, which I can't find. Or unplugging the off switch or module, which didn't work.
The Air Suspension/EVO Steering Module is programmed with two height correction strategies: a short term (immediate) correction strategy and a long term (averaging) strategy. If the Ignition Switch is in RUN, the vehicle is not moving and a door is opened or closed, the short term strategy is used.
22 gru 2006 · Locate and cut the DARK GREEN wire with the LIGHT GREEN stripe or "tracer". This will be the wire to cut on most models. Leave the module connected and turn the suspension switch ON in the trunk.
