2 lis 2012 · Coding eye examinations is different than coding physical examinations, which have separate CPT® codes for routine and medical visits. CPT® codes 92002-92014 indicate new and established eye exams, and are used for both routine and medical visits.
24 maj 2016 · Palpate lymph nodes and the temporal artery if indicated by the history or exam. Measure proptosis or enophthalmos with an exophthalmometer. Perform a full cranial nerve exam for patients with diplopia or other neurologic symptoms.
1 kwi 2020 · The comprehensive Eye visit codes (92004 and 92014) require all 12 elements of the examination (see checklist below), whereas you can submit the intermediate codes (92002 and 92012) if you’ve performed at least three, but fewer than 12, of them.
