13 gru 2008 · I hate to ask for a favor being a 'newbie' but I'm searching for pictures of Mason Dixon or 75-80 Dragway from the late 60's and early 70's. I'm really looking for some of a green 67 Shelby that says Mr.Preston on the side (see attached).

26 lut 2018 · 75-80 Drag way in 2016. The 75-80 Drag way began its local legacy in early 1960. The owner of the track, Mr. Bill Wilcom had just arrived home from being stationed out West serving his time in the Airforce. He had began seeing race tracks popping up in empty fields and was inspired to bring the idea home with him.
19 sie 2012 · The track crew did a great job getting a few spills cleaned up and the track back in great condition. New track an class records all around. Gallery HERE. Gary Walker reset the Big Tire Outlaw record at 3.97 seconds and backed it up as well as winning the event over Bob Bailey.

The last day of racing at 75/80 Dragway. Most pictures courtesy of Rick Byerly. Thanks Rick! After 45 years of operation (1960-2005), 75/80 Dragway in Monrovia MD closed its lanes on October 30th, 2005. The track has been family owned and operated by the Wilcom brothers.
