23 lut 2019 · Most of PS3 games will run at 720p, only a few of them such as GT5/GT6 could do full HD resolution with 60fps. Nothing much you can do. Alternatively, you can enjoy remastered titles of past PS3 games on PS4 or PC which will give full HD 60fps.

After reading up that most PS3 games are stuck at 720p and some can be upscaled to 1080p with every other resolution checked out, I was curious and went to test my library of 720p games to see if any would upscale to 1080p and only The Last of Us actually did go to 1080p.
25 wrz 2008 · My tv displays what resolution is being fed to it and most ps3 games show as 720p, apart from the games that are intended for 1080p and of course 1080p blu-rays. If you remove 720p from the resolutions list the ps3 downscales the game to 520p.
